Dani founded Pulse Performance in 1993 and remains its full-time Head Coach. He is also President and Head Coach of the Pulse Triathlon Club, which he formed in May 2003. One of only a handful of full-time professional coaches in Sydney, his success comes from a unique blend of more than 30 years' experience in coaching and racing at the elite level, and passion for helping his athletes to not only meet but exceed their fitness and performance goals.
Dani is very well known and respected in the running, triathlon and multi-sport communities. His dedication to his athletes extends far beyond the training program. Clients enjoy a comprehensive approach to fitness and training, incorporating tailored exercises, nutritional advice and injury prevention techniques along with the support of a strong and social team.
Dani's reputation as a successful high-performance coach saw him approached by several of the most competitive GPS schools in Sydney to manage their cross-country running programs. In 2014, he chose to accept the challenge to coach the Sydney Boys High cross-country team, which was struggling to perform. Within 12 months the school had won the 2015 GPS U16 title which was last won back in 1995, then went one better in 1996 by winning the GPS most prestigious title the Opens championships a title they've been trying to regain since 1996. Then in 2018 SBH regained the U16 title and in 2019 came second in the Open Championships just missing out on another Open title making Dani the most successful cross country coach in the History of Sydney Boys High.

Dani's ability to recognize and nurture young talent extends to his own Pulse Juniors squad, which is widely recognized as the most competitive squad of cross-country runners in NSW. In 2016, 38 of Dani's junior athletes qualified for and raced at the NSW State All Schools Cross Country Championships.
In 2015, Dani coached his protégé junior athlete, 14-year-old Angus Beer to win three national titles: 800m and 1500m Track National Champion, and National Cross Country Champion. The same year, Dani coached one of his junior triathletes, Luke Schofield to win the 3km Road national title.
To this date Angus and Dani have won over 16 National titles making Angus Beer one of the most successful Junior runners in Australia.
Numerous titles are credited to him, including Junior World Duathlon Champion, Runner Up World Junior Triathlon Champion, U23 Elite Duathlon Bronze Medalist, multiple Junior State and National All School Triathlon titles, various State and National running titles, State and National swimming titles.
Dani is known for identifying and developing junior and age-grouper athletes into elite contenders. Examples include Twins Luke and Jayden Schofield. Coach Dani developed the twins from the young age 10 years old to two of Australia's best u23 professional triathletes. Elite multi-sport athlete Victoria Beck, who Dani coached to win numerous triathlon, duathlon and marathon titles; and developed ITU triathletes Sarah Roy, Lisa Tulic and Anel Stewart in 2007 then further developing Sarah Roy into a professional elite cyclist currently racing for the professional Team Confidis.
Dani was also approached in 2015 by the Sydney Cycling Club, the single largest cycling club in Sydney, to become their head coach which he held for 5 years. He was involved with the Australian Sports Commission NTID Women’s Cycling Program, helping to develop the next generation of female cyclists.
Over the past 15 years, Dani has also been involved in developing and coaching Elite Kenyan runners to win several major international road races. His current Kenyan athletes include 2010 Commonwealth Games Marathon Silver Medalist Irene Mogoka, Gold Coast Marathon Runner-Up Robert Matu and one of the world's top 100 5km/10km road runners Eliud Macharia.
Before turning to full time coaching in 1999, Dani raced at the elite level for more than 10 years, under some of the finest coaches in Australia: Rod Cedaro, Marc Dragan and Olympic coach Ben Gathercole.
He has represented Australia at over eight world championships in triathlon and duathlon, completed more than 12 Ironman races and many marathons within and outside of Australia, finishing more than 12 in under three hours.

He also has won and placed in several triathlon, duathlon and running races. He is the 1998 25-29, 2008 35-39 and 2019 45-49 National Duathlon Champion, 2008, 2012, 2014, 2018 and 2019 NSW State Champion, 2015 Runner-Up NSW State Champion and 2015 National Duathlon Series Champion.
Races at the elite level in stair climbing where he placed four times 3rd overall in the Prestigious Sydney Centre Point Tower run.
Dani was awarded a coaching scholarship in Queensland which he attended in October 2003 as part of his own ongoing education and coaching program, continuing his commitment to being the best he can be.
Dani is the former Head Swim Coach at Leichhardt Pool Aquatic Centre and former Head Athletics and Head Swim Coach at the prestigious KinCoppal Private School at Rose Bay in Sydney's eastern suburbs.
Dani last year at SBH as Head Coach in 2020 leaving a very successful legacy, taking a year off coaching at school level during the covid pandemic. In 2022 Dani was approached by the Prestigious Trinity Grammar School to lead the Middle Distance and Cross-Country program as Head Coach.
