Pulse Performance is coming to the Blue Mountains and starting a squad in Glenbrook! One of the most successful and sought out coaches in Sydney is bringing his expetise to the mountains.

The squad will train together two days a week on Mondays and Wednesdays.

So much more than a run group.

There's a difference between running and being a runner. Pulse Performance is that difference. We'd like to tell you about four key things that set our squads apart: 

 

1. Every session is designed and led by a full-time running high performance coach. Our coaches are there to develop and improve your fitness and running technique to help you achieve your goals - whatever they may be. They've been in the game for a long time and coach full-time (it's not something they do on the side!) so you can rest assured they know what they're talking about and want to help you succeed. And if you have any questions, ask away!

 

2. You pay less for more sessions. While other running groups meet once or twice a week and have little flexibility, Pulse Performance will offer three time slots per week. For just $100 a month, you can choose three of the five sessions you wish to join (you'll just need to confirm with us ahead of time so we know who we're expecting). That works out to be up to 12 sessions a month at the teensy price of $12.50 per session!

 

3. Pulse Performance is an established squad since 1999 with a strong record of success. We already have a large and very active run squad in Rozelle since 2000, and we attend all the major races in Sydney as well as several in regional NSW and interstate (you may have seen us wearing the distinctive Pulse shirt!) When and where we meet

We are offering Three time slots per week, with each session lasting one hour:

- Mondays at 6am.

- Mondays at 6.30pm.

- Wednesdays at 6.30pm.

 

 

You can choose three of these sessions to attend each week (that's up to 12 sessions per month!) There will be some flexibility but you'll need to let us know in advance what sessions you wish to attend and if you're no longer able to make them, so we know who to expect.

Varied and tailored sessions

All the sessions will be tailored for the different levels of fitness and goals of the people in the squad, so beginners and more advanced runners are able to train together while still being challenged. 

 

Sessions involve a variety of exercises and training sets to build fitness, strength and confidence (and to keep it interesting!) Sprints, time trials, hill reps, core exercises, boxing, kettle bells and weights are all part of the mix. Time is also spent before and after each session properly warming up, cooling down and stretching.

Dani Andres is the founder and head coach of Pulse Performance. With more than 25 years experience coaching and running at an elite level, Dani loves to share his knowledge on running technique, preventing and treating injuries, race preparation and recovery, hydration and nutrition.

 

Dani can also recommend sports physiotherapists, chiropractors and massage therapists if required.
