Central Coast Running Festival 2015
A troupe of Pulsies travelled north to The Entrance to line up for the half marathon and 10k events in the Central Coast Running Festival. In the 10k, Coach Dani took out second place with an official time of 35.05. Rachel blitzed the distance in 46.22, Sarah raced home in 51.24, Lea clocked a time of 55.59 and Jana cruised in under the on hour mark in a time of 56.23. In the half marathon, Tennille rocketed to the finish in a time of 1.38.33 with Lachlan hot on her heels finishing in 1.39.42 and Dean close behind in 1.41.28.

City2Surf 2014
One of our favourite events on the running calendar, a large contingent of Pulsies lined up near Hyde Park to conquer Heartbreak Hill. Many PBs were set as they crossed the finish line 14km later at Bondi Beach. Where the traditional Pulse Performance City2Surf post race sausage sizzle was waiting!

Sri Chinmoy at Albert Park, Melbourne 2014
Flying the Pulse flag interstate, Pulsies Sue Lee and Bernie lined up for a Sri Chinmoy race in Melbourne, with Sue Lee tackling the 10km and Bernie smashing the half marathon distance.

Gold Coast Marathon 2014
Every July, a group of Pulsies escape the Winter chill to head north for the Gold Coast Marathon festival, hitting the pavement as part of the 10km fun run, half marathon or marathon races. This year was no exception! Coach Dani, Trevor, Paula and Sue-Lee all lined up for the 10km on teh Saturday then on the Sunday Kate, Sarah, Naomi, Katrina, Toni, Ben and Donna laced up their runners for the half while Anthony, Bernie and Leone completed the marathon.

Run2Cure Neuroblastoma 2014
There's nothing Pulsies enjoy more than running for a good cause and the Run2Cure Neuroblastoma certainly fit that bill! Coach Dani took out first place in the 10km race with David, Trevor, Sarah, Leone, Tennille, Bronwyn, Gillian, Damien and Geraldine all taking part.

Sydney Half Marathon 2014
Once again, the Sydney Half Marathon was one of the biggest events for Pulse Performance. Among the dozens of Pulsies taking part in the 21.1km run through the city were several long-time runners chasing faster times and course PBs, along with a handful looking to complete their first ever half marathon distance.

Sri Chinmoy, Dolls Point 2014
Pulsies braved the cold to take part in the 5km and 10km events as part of the Sri Chinmoy race series at Dolls Point. Coach Dani, Keran, Meg, Amber and two Sarahs lined up for the run and traditional post-race pancakes! A big high five goes to Sarah G who busted her previous Dolls Point 10km time by 5 minutes!

Mother's Day Classic 2014
For Pulsies, Mother's Day means more than breakfast in bed and chrysanthemums. It means the Mother's Day Classic through the Royal Botanic Gardens! Several members of the group took part in the 8km and 4km fun runs, some accompanied by their Mum or their kids! At least one "expecting" Pulsie took her bump and her Mum in the 4km walk event.

Geelong Half Marathon 2014
Our home base may be Sydney but Pulse Performance runners like to get out and about, taking part in races around Australia and even internationally. Gabrielle, Kristal, Kasey and Charlotte headed to Victoria to fly the Pulse Performance flag in the Geelong Half Marathon at the end of April.

Melbourne Ironman 2014

Coach Dani completed his 14th Ironman in Melbourne. It was a long, tough day on the course but the Coach still crossed the finish line with a time of 10:30, with a weary smile on his face. Way to go, Coach!

Huskisson Triathlon Festival 2014
The Husky weekend was a great success with everyone performing well. Several Pulsies completed the Sprint Triathlon, including Leone, Meg, Anna, Heidi and Trent.

 

Alicia, Trevor and Daniel completed their first Long Course Triathlon while Fraser and Simonne also raced well. 

 

The outstanding Pulse athlete was Catherine, who completed her first Long Course Triathlon in winning style, placing first in her category.

Our runners showed their speed with some podium finishers. In the 10km fun run, Neil finished second overall while Yousef finished third in his age category and Kate crossed the line fourth in her category. Yousef and Lachlan both completed the 10km with new PB times.

 

In the 5km fun run, Coach Dani blitzed the field winning overall by more than two minutes.

Melbourne Running Festival 2013
A contingent of Pulsies headed interstate to Victoria to take part in the Melbourne Running Festival. Pulse Performance was represented in the 10km, half marathon and full marathon races, a number of PBs were set! Congratulations Neil (2:29:20), Kate (3:19:39), Bernie (3:40:18) and Trevor (3:48:15) in the full marathon. To Tony (2:28:57) in the half marathon and Arifa (0:59) in the 10km. All your hard work and training paid off!

Sydney Running Festival 2013
Once again, a large group of Pulsies lined up for the marathon, half marathon and 9km events at this year's Sydney Running Festival. New to this year's group were a number of elite international runners Coach Dani had coached for the race: Kenyan Willy Koitile, overall winner of the marathon (2:13:48); third male finisher Lucky Mohale from South Africa (2:15.58) and third female Irene Mogaka from Kenya (2:38:16).

Bathurst Edgell Jog 2013
For the second year running, Coach Dani finished in fourth place at Bathurst's Edgell Jog in central western NSW.

Coastal Classic 2013
A group of Pulsies took to the trails as part of the 29km Coastal Classic from Otford to Bundeena through the Royal National Park. A scenic run, this race pushed our Pulsies to perform as they crossed sandy beaches, raced along uneven trails and up steps.

Mudgee Running Festival 2013
About a dozen Pulse Performance runners travelled to wine country to take part in the Mudgee Running Festival 5km, 10km, half marathon and marathon events. Many completed their first 10km race in one of the most beautiful country settings. Coach Dani took first place in the marathon while Neil took first in the half marathon. Sydney Tower Stair Challenge 2013
Coach Dani placed third in the elites category in this year's the Sydney Tower Stair Challenge - running up 1504 steps to the top of Sydney Tower to raise money for Big Stairs, a charity for children with autism.

City2Surf 2013
Once again, a large group of Pulse Performance runners lined up in different waves for this year's City2Surf (and our traditional post-race barbeque at the finish line in Bondi). Many were chasing a PB while others were running for the very first time.

The Bay Run 2013
A Pulse Performance favourite event! A number of new Pulse Performance runners completed the 7km run around The Bay in Rozelle - for some, it was the first time completing this distance. Coach Dani and Biscuit defended their title, winning The Fastest Dog in the Inner West and breaking their own record while Emma and Cookie also happily completed the doggy distance.

Ironman Cairns 2013
A team of seven Pulse Performance Ironman athletes headed to tropical north Queensland to take part in the Cairns Ironman in June. Coach Dani completed his second Cairns Ironman, along with Zoe, David, Josh, Cliff and Ben all crossing the line in Cairns for the very first time. Josh Hilliard took out second place in the 18-24 Males category with a time of 9:56:31. Good work Josh!
 
A relative newbie to the triathlon scene, Deanna earned her stripes completing her very first half Ironman race.

Sydney Morning Herald Half Marathon 2013
Pulse Performance once again had a large team of runners in this year's Sydney Morning Herald Half Marathon. More than 20 Pulse runners completed the course through the city, some lining up for their very first half marathon as well as more experienced runners trying to improve their time from last year. Fantastic results with many posting new personal best times.

Port Dickson International Triathlon 2013

Pulse Performance athletes can be found all over the world! Based in Singapore, Cliff Scott placed third at this year's Port Dickson International Triathlon in Malaysia. Well done Cliff!

Australia Ironman 2013

This year Coach Dani became an Australia Ironman Legend, completing his 10th Australia Ironman event with a time of 10 hours and 11 minutes. A group of Pulse athletes also attended as support crew to cheer him on.
